Provision for children and young people through education, counselling, care and the nursing and educational social work services in the framework of youth work and youth welfare work

Support for mothers, marriages and the familiy in the form of marriage and pregnancy counselling, life skills counselling, mother and adult education, ecuperative measures (rest for mothers), homehelp and family support.

Assistance for elderly people via counselling, opportunities for social contact, education for elderly, meals on wheels and visiting services, housing for the elderly, residential homes and nursing homes for the aged, geriatric clinics.

Services for the mentally, physically and emotionally disabled in the form of early health promotion and support, educational, medical and social assistance in the family or in homes, special nurseries and special schools, provision of medical, vocational and social rehabilitation (rehabilitation facilities, institutes for vocational romotion and training, workshops), day care centres and supervised housing, counselling centres, transportation services.

Nursing of the sick in the framework of out-patient health and personal social welfare services (including inhome nursing services), hospitals, day clinics, day care centres, sanatoriums, half-way house, counselling centres.

Counselling for people in particular social difficulties, assistance for the rehabilitation of persons at risk, delinquents and the homeless, counselling on drugs and drugg addiction.

Measures to alleviate the burdens of unemployment, throgh emplayment promotion and vocational training measures in the framework of social work for young people, employment projects, assistance for the long-term unemployed, counselling, continuing education and retraining.

Provision and social counselling and assistance for people from abroad, for foreign employees and their families, for refugees and immigrants, asylum-seekers and authorized refugees.
